"Cool Roofs are recognized by ASHRAE 90.1-2007 to be effective at reducing solar heat intake, and adjust the maximum allowed U-Value to accommodate.

To be considered a Cool Roof, the roof surface must have the following values:

• Reflective of at least 0.7 and
• Emittance of at least 0.75, or
• SRI of 82

These properties must be verified and listed by CRRC™"
